Who Am I?

"And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharoah, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?" Exodus 3:11

Have you ever felt you were not qualified to do something or you felt inadequate?  Has God ever spoken to you about serving Him in some way and you immediately said, Not me, Lord? Who am I?
I have no background in that. I am not qualified. I can't do that!

I am sure this was how Moses felt when God wanted him to go tell Pharoah to release the Israelites. Can you imagine a task that big? Moses began thinking about his inability to speak. That is a perfect excuse Moses thought. Exodus 4:10 "And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent...but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And The Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth?...Have not I the Lord? Then God said these words to Moses in verse 12 "Certainly I will be with thee..." Don't you love God's response?

When we start to question ourselves or think we are not adequate or maybe someone has made us feel that we are inadequate, we need to remember...God created us, and He knows what we are capable of doing. God is with us each step of the way. God will help us do anything He asks us to do as long as we believe and our faith is in Him and His plan.

Love in Christ,
Tera
